Job summary

Switchgear Power Systems is seeking fabrication welders for the Winneconne, WI location. Shift is Friday through Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm, full-time with pay from $26.00 per hour.

Overtime is available during weekdays or additional weekend hours, plus paid lunch. Responsibilities include welding sheet metal using GMAW/MIG, setting up equipment for MIG welding on mild steel, stainless and aluminum, and interpreting weld symbols with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years MIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication welders are needed in the welding of sheet metal. GMAW is mostly Galvanneal with some welding of aluminum and stainless steel (experience is helpful but not required).
• Set-up equipment to MIG weld mild steel, stainless and aluminum metals.
• Interpret/understand weld symbols on print and have good attention to detail.
• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and print specifications.
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Able to take and follow directives.
