Job summary

ISC Constructors is seeking positive, energetic welders to join our seasoned team. The role involves welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, selecting equipment, and ensuring conformance to specifications with metric checks and templates.

Applicants should have at least 4 years of craft-specific experience and be able to pass OSHA-aligned tests. A post-offer drug test and background checks are required. Excellent wages with full benefits.

The Position

We are looking for positive, energetic WELDERS with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.

Applicants should have the ability to:

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Select appropriate equipment, plan layouts, assemble materials, and weld materials together
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment
• Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys
• Apply knowledge of geometry, and understand physical properties of metal machining
• Weld shrinkage and different welding techniques
• Must be familiar and practice welding in accordance with OSHA regulations and standards
• Ability to successfully pass the G3 and G4 plate test (consists of a vertical and horizontal weld with LH rods).
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
