Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Welder Fabricator in Cabot, AR to join our fabrication team building specialized utility equipment. You will weld, cut, assemble, and install components on utility vehicles and related equipment, following engineering drawings and tolerances.

Expect a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. You will work with experienced teams to ensure safety, quality and on-time builds.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to pass a welding certification test.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Flux-Core welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Cut, bend, punch, shape, fabricate, and weld metal parts and assemblies.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and fabrication specs.
• Build and install brackets, bumpers, subframes, outriggers, and other components.
• Select and utilize proper materials, tools, and equipment to complete fabrication projects.
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Work with fabrication, assembly, and production teams to meet build schedules.
• Follow all company procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Build Specialized Utility Equipment

Join our Cabot fabrication team and help build and customize utility equipment used by electric utility crews across the country. As a Welder Fabricator, you will work alongside experienced fabricators and upfit technicians tomodify and install componentson utility vehicles and tracked aerial equipment, such asTerex Hi-Ranger bucket trucks and specialty utility equipment.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (4 10 hour shifts)
• Friday overtime is available as needed

What You'll Do

Working Conditions

• The job is performed under extreme temperature variations and some hazardous conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42”, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling throughout a 8-10-12 hour day.
