Sabre Industries, Inc. seeks a Welder Trainee to join our fabrication team in Sioux City, IA. You will learn to interpret drawings, set up welding equipment, and perform basic welds under supervision to meet project specs and safety standards.

This entry-level position emphasizes hands-on training, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a strong safety mindset and reliability highly valued.

Qualifications

• Basic Math skills required and ability to read and write.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret welding symbols may be required.
• GMAW or Metal Core Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble and weld components according to drawings and specs.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Attend to quality checks and adjust as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in welding processes.
• Work on the small pole assembly line and assist fitter when needed.
