Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is hiring a Welder to perform production welding on pole assemblies. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and weld in 1G/2F positions using GMAC or FCAW processes.

The role requires AWS MIG welding certification and the ability to work with overhead cranes in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Excellent PPE and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• AWS MIG welding certification required for qualified operations.
• Welder trainee certification completed and AWS certified for MT/UT inspection.
• Able to read and interpret complex prints and specs.
• Must read/write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Position pole assembly in rollers and weld per drawings and codes.
• Read weld symbols and specifications to locate attachments and weld size.
• Set up welding machines and adjust parameters per procedures.
• Weld using 1G/2F positions with GMAC or FCAW processes.
• Inspect welds and maintain clean work area; operate cranes when needed.
• Use tools to drill, cut, grind, and fit components as required.
