Job summary

EK is seeking a skilled CNC Saw Operator in Wisconsin to set up and run saws, read blueprints, verify tolerances, and monitor tooling instructions. The role requires securing workpieces, managing coolant flow, inspecting parts, and maintaining accurate material inventory.

You will perform preventive maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized. Responsibilities include moving materials within the CNC Department and ensuring conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, band speed, clamping pressure, and special instructions.
• Positions and secures workpiece in saw vises.
• Maintains direct flow of coolant against saw blade and work piece.
• Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
• Sets up and operates saw.
• Issues raw materials to jobs and maintains accurate inventory and location of raw materials.
• Inspects parts using precision measuring equipment and documents inspection data.
• Performs periodic preventative maintenance to assigned machines and notifies supervisor or manager of any problems with assigned machines.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the CNC Department when needed.
• Cleans and organizes work area.
