Job summary

Contech is seeking a Welder for our Greely, CO plant to support infrastructure projects such as drainage systems, pipes, bridges, and stormwater structures. You will read blueprints, lay out material, and weld with MIG and Stick processes while maintaining strict safety practices.

The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with layout tools and cutting/plasma torches. We offer competitive wages and opportunities for overtime in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding.
• Technical welding training or experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with precision instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures for accuracy.
• Use templates and patterns to lay out material.
• Align and assemble product for welding using crane, lever hoist, and chains.
• Weld with cutting or plasma torch to precise layouts.
• Adhere to safety protocols in the work environment.
