Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a skilled welder for our McKinney, TX manufacturing team. You will position, align, fit, and weld parts using jigs, torches and standard welding processes in a loud, temp-controlled production setting.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, interpreting drawings, following safety procedures, and performing stick/MIG/TIG welding. Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are preferred. Starting pay is $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Experience in welding in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts using jigs and torches.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform stick welding and MIG/TIG as required.
• Work in a loud production environment with extreme temperatures.
