Job summary

Prysmian is hiring a skilled welder in McKinney, TX to assemble sub units using jig, torch, and welding processes. The role requires responsible handling of fabrication tasks in a fast-paced production setting.

You will read blueprints, follow OSHA safety procedures, and perform quality control while meeting production targets. The candidate should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in a loud environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Able to read and write English
• Prefer industrial/manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of metals used for cutting, welding and forming
• Ability to climb in overhead structures and work in tight spaces
• Exposed to high voltage electricity and heat
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts using jigs, hand tools, and torches.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine sequences and requirements.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company safety rules.
• Provide clear instructions and drawings for fabrication or modification.
• Perform related duties as required by the supervisor.
