Job summary

Prysmian Group in Bridgewater, MA, is seeking a Process and Development Specialist to implement, optimize, and industrialize manufacturing processes and new products on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include supporting product development, process transfers, and continuous improvement across welding, extrusion, and cable production, with hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on industrial experience in mechanical, materials, metallurgical, manufacturing areas.
• Experience with welding, roll forming, extrusion, annealing, metal forming, cable manufacturing, or related processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development, process transfers, production trials, qualification, and launch.
• Industrialize Lead-Free ESP cables, power drilling cables, fiber products, welded and floated plug-drawn products, and Tube Encapsulated Cable laser welding.
• Provide hands-on shop-floor troubleshooting of equipment, tooling, materials, and processes.
• Develop and maintain process settings, work instructions, drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical records.
• Establish and support preventive maintenance standards for tooling, dies, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Collaborate across facilities to transfer capability and standardize processes.
