Job summary

Trillium Construction is now seeking a stainless steel TIG Welder in Rome, GA. The role runs for 2–3 weeks, Monday through Friday, with 12-hour days. Pay is $38/hour plus $120/day per diem paid all 7 days. Onsite work requires passing a 10-panel drug screen and TAPPISAFE safety orientation before start.

Welding tasks include stainless pipe/tank work and isometric drawing interpretation for sanitary and pressure-rated systems. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding of stainless steel.
• Ability to read complex isometric drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of sanitary and pressure-rated piping is a plus.

Job description

Trillium Construction is now seeking a stainless steel TIG Welder in Rome, GA.

Will be starting next Monday and working for 2-3 weeks, Monday through Friday, 12 hour days. Pay rate is $38/hour plus $120/day per diem paid all 7 days.

Job Duties:

• Process Work: Weld thin-to-thick stainless steel pipes, tanks, and chemical recovery systems using the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW / TIG) method. Welding is 100% X-Ray
• Mill Maintenance: Repair corrosive piping, pressure vessels, and conveyor components exposed to harsh bleaching agents and moisture.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex isometric drawings and mechanical schematics for sanitary and pressure-rated pipe fitting.

• Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen to get onsite.
• Must take TAPPISAFE Safety orientation prior to starting work on Monday.
