Job summary

Trillium Construction is hiring industrial welders for a shop-based role in Rankin, TX. Welders will complete TIG and stick tests, including carbon and stainless pipe work, with bend or X-ray inspections.

The job runs six days a week on 10-hour shifts for an approximately 8-month project, with per diem of $125 every 7 days if all shifts are worked. Welders must fabricate pipes in the shop and comply with PPE standards, bringing required tools such as stinger, ground, TIG rig, and hood.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass multiple weld tests (TIG, stick) including carbon and stainless, with downhill tests for carbon pipes.
• Must wear basic PPE and bring own tools when required (stinger, ground, TIG rig, hood).
• Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and weld tests to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate various carbon and stainless pipes in the shop for shipment to Exxon Mobil site.
• Operate weld tests and quality checks; ensure bend or X-ray acceptance.
• Adhere to shop safety, PPE, and site-ready readiness; six 10-hour shifts per week.

Job description

Trillium Construction is hiring industrial combo pipe welders to work in a shop setting in Rankin, TX.

Candidates will perform a tig and stick weld test. Candidates will perform a 2 inch and 6 inch sch 80 downhill test for carbon. Candidates will perform a 2inch stainless tig test as well. Welds will go through bend test or X-ray test. Candidates will be fabricating various pipes in the shop to be sent out to Exxon Mobile site. Candidates will work with carbon and stainless pipe of various sizes and schedule.

Candidates will work 6 days a week. 10 hour shifts. The duration of the project will be 8 months. Pay is up to $45/hr for pipe welders. Per diem is $125/all 7 days as long as all required shifts are worked.

• Candidates must wear basic PPE and tools of the trade.
• Welders will also need to provide their own stinger, ground, tig rig, and welding hood.
• Candidates must be able to pass pre employment screenings.
