Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Welder in Belen, NM. You will use jigs and fixtures to layout welds according to blueprints and perform welding using manual/semi-automatic/automatic equipment. You will inspect finished welds for quality and help maintain equipment.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience or Weld School Certification, and preferred certifications in Grinding, GMAW, or Flux Core. Strong English communication is essential for safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Welding Certification preferred.
• Experience with oxy-fuel, carbon arc, and stick welding is expected.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently perform Oxy Fuel Burning and Carbon Arcing.
• May perform stick welding and multi-pass welds.
• Lay out weld points on parts and subassemblies.
• Position pieces in jigs and fixtures using measuring tools.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to specifications.
