Job summary

Hendrickson in Navarre, OH, is seeking skilled welders to support the timely production of welded parts. You will perform MIG, hand and robotic welding to meet production and quality targets.

You will inspect products, report activities, read blueprints, and follow safety practices in a non-temperature controlled facility. A High School Diploma or GED and prior welding experience are required, plus a 2G MIG certification.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at required production and quality level.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor/Area Leader.

Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards.

Essential Functions

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor/Area Leader.

Education And Training

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior welding experience, required

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass 2G MIG welding certification test.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility
• Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection
