A North American leader in heavy-duty equipment is seeking a Welder for their Manchester, IA facility. This role includes producing high-quality weldments and maintaining safety standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of experience and the ability to weld using GMAW MIG. Qualifications

• 6 months experience or certificates in welding.
• Ability to operate tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting metals.
• Adheres to health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality weldments from blueprints.
• Set up and operate welding machines.
• Perform maintenance functions on equipment.

Skills

Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints

Basic shop math skills

Ability to operate overhead hoist

Education

Minimum of 6 months experience or associate’s degree/certification
