Job summary

ReFab Metal Fab in Grand Haven, MI is seeking motivated Welders to join the team and advance MIG, TIG, and robotic welding skills. You will set up equipment for MIG welding, read blueprints, align parts, and perform finishing work including grinding and maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, welding experience, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. Certifications such as Certified Welding Technician are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous welding experience/training; Certified Welding Technician is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Willing to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment for MIG welding on a variety of products and parts.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components to weld per customer specifications.
• Read customer blueprints and work instructions.
• Finish grinding and spot grinding of parts.
• Perform maintenance on welding and grinding machines.
