We are currently looking for a Welder/Mechanic to join our traveling team based out of York PA.

Job Summary

Welding/Repairing the production equipment, Mobile equipment, Roll-off containers, hoppers and storage containers for all the facilities. This position requires traveling throughout the East Coast up to 32 weeks per year.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Welds metal parts together
  • Performs related tasks such as sizing and grinding
  • Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increase size of metal parts
  • Coordinate Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
  • Locates and repairs components of fixed hammer mill
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge or be able to learn Ivara Work Order System Inventory software.
  • Ability to pass SIMS welders test.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
