Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a welder to lay out, fit, and weld fabricated materials according to production orders and blueprints. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.

You will maintain records, operate welding equipment, and collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders while contributing to 5S and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with manufacturing experience (4+ years).
• Trade/certified welding program preferred; 4+ years in a similar role may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and weld materials using orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Maintain production records, data collection, and TPM sheets.
• Maintain welding equipment in good condition.
• Pull items for orders; manage stock and assist other departments as needed.
• Perform daily activities safely; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely.
• Maintain weld quality throughout the process.
