Job summary

Veranda Luxury Pontoons (Malvern, AR) seeks a skilled welder capable of MIG and TIG welding across multiple positions. The role emphasizes advancing to Welder 3, guiding junior welders, and ensuring quality welds while meeting production timelines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety, attendance, and teamwork, supporting department leadership and adapting to station changes as needed in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in MIG and TIG welds and positions.
• Able to recognize workflow issues and assist in conjunction with department leadership.
• Capable of performing any station to maintain Welder 3 status when required.
• Leads by example in Safety, Attendance, Behavior, and adherence to shop rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform welds to quality standards.
• Guide Welder 1 or 2 when needed and provide instruction as required.
• Be capable of performing any welding station to sustain Welder 3 status.

• Proficient in all Welder 2 requirements.
• Proficient in all MIG and TIG weld / positions.
• Ability to recognize workflow issues and takes necessary action to assist in conjunction with department leadership.
• Understanding of fabrication and correctly fitting parts to ensure quality welds.
• Must be able to provide guidance and instruction when needed to Welder 1 or 2.
• To maintain Welder 3 status, associate must be capable of performing any station in the department while meeting cycle times and a clear understanding that this may be required.
• Leads by example in Safety, Attendance, Behavior, Performance and adhering to ALL shop rules.
