Job summary

JLG Industries, An Oshkosh Company, is seeking a Welder II to operate welding equipment and build high-quality parts across multiple production lines. The role involves welding, rework, and applying flat, vertical, and overhead techniques on a variety of products.

You will read blueprints, position materials, use cranes and a robot/tube welder, and contribute to safety and 6S standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear a standard welding helmet for extended periods.
• Willing to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Heat and form metal parts and components using welding equipment; position materials to be welded.
• Operate an overhead crane to move parts safely and set welding configurations.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow 6S standards.
• Train and assist across production areas as needed.
• Position, assemble, and weld metal parts per blueprints.
• Operate robot/Tube welder and troubleshoot.
• Rework on raw material and finished products.
