Job summary

Generac is seeking a welder for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin to join a team focused on safety and precision. The role involves reading engineering drawings, operating welding equipment, and assisting with robotic welders.

Compensation includes $25.50 per hour plus an 11% shift premium, with a 11pm–7am schedule. A high school diploma or certification is required, plus welding test and basic welding experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Certification is required.
• Internal written and physical weld test.
• Understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the company/site safety rules.
• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
• Assist with robotic welder.
• Additional duties as assigned.
