Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Welder for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. You will operate robotic welding equipment, set process parameters, inspect parts, and ensure conformance to specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires completing an internal welding test, reading blueprints, and performing basic shop math and measurements; overhead crane experience is a plus. This is a full-time night shift position with standard production duties.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an internal welding test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Basic computer skills relevant to job duties.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic weld machines to fabricate metal parts per specifications.
• Set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, gas type, and weld rod.
• Inspect and measure welded pieces to verify conformance to specs.
• Unload welded frames and place in containers; maintain tidy work area.
• Read job specs and follow blueprints and traveler notes for weld type and material.
