Job summary

Calgon Carbon, a Kuraray Company, is seeking a Welder II for our Equipment & Assembly Plant in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves welding piping systems and small vessels using SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW per CCC/ASME procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, inspecting work, handling materials, and completing daily weld logs. Shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential for growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated welding proficiency across SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW and GMAW processes.
• Certification to CCC procedures and ASME/API/AWS/ANSI codes as applicable.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings for weld size and location.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies and safety rules.
• Handle materials and perform welding of piping systems and vessels.
• Operate forklifts, jib cranes and overhead cranes; document weld logs daily.
