Job summary

Welder II position in Wichita, KS, is responsible for welding tasks using engineering drawings and process sheets. You will load, align, tack, and finish welds, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Qualifying candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of welding experience or a welding certification, and the ability to read and follow simple instructions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and strong safety mindset are required.

• At least 1 year welding experience or successful completion of a technical diploma/certification in welding.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet other physical requirements of the job.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work from engineering drawings, process sheets, and instructions from team leaders.
• Use weld jigs, fixtures, and positioners to perform welding tasks.
• Load, position, align, secure, tack, finish weld, and unload parts efficiently and accurately.
• Check own work to ensure it meets quality standards for welds, appearance, and specifications.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to accommodate material variations and maintain quality.

As a Welder II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. Pay Rate: $26.35-$28.35

Shift: 1st and3rd shift
