Essential duties include safe-start participation, maintaining a clean work area, following 5S standards, selecting appropriate welding methods, and assembling components per specifications. Candidates should have a HS Diploma (or equivalent), with a related technical college background being a plus, and at least one year of welding experience in

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Related degree from a technical college is a plus.
• 1 year of proven welding experience in a manufacturing environment or internship during technical college.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all safe start meetings.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Follow 5S standards to maintain work area.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on specifications.
• Setup and align components for welding according to specifications.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions.
• Operate angle grinders and other tools necessary to prepare the surface to be welded.
• Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.
• All other duties as assigned.
