Ferrara/KME are premiere manufacturers of fire trucks and emergency response vehicles, seeking a skilled welder to join a production team. You will perform welds on large, custom components, following shop orders, prints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

You will work in a team, apply welding procedures, handle heavy assemblies, and contribute to safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic welding knowledge including GMAW processes.
• Must be knowledgeable in Lean Methodologies.
• Ability to read and understand basic assembly prints and weld symbols.

Responsabilités

• Welds on components to exacting specifications for large, custom vehicles.
• Review material and product requirements; prepare parts as prescribed.
• Set up parts in fixtures, select welding parameters, ensure dimensional accuracy and cosmetic quality.
