We are seeking a skilled welder to perform welding and assembly tasks on the coach in a timely manner, maintaining tidy work areas and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow all safety precautions and regulations for welding
- Proficient in the use of welding equipment and techniques
- Interpret and understand drawings, Bills of Materials, and verbal/written instructions
- Knowledge of fixtures, weld setup parameters, and filler material applications
- Inspect work to ensure quality
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
- Use manual and power tools for finish grinding
- Maintain basic welding equipment
- Problem-solving skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate in English
- Ability to read tape measures and other measuring devices
- Attention to detail
- Physical ability to climb, twist, bend, stoop, stand, squat, grasp, and work overhead
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination
