Position: MIG Welder
Location: Hartselle, AL
Wage: $23.74/hour

Shift: 4a - 2:30p

As a Production Associate I reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will perform a variety of tasks to support production operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Welding mild steel using MIG (with .045 wire) to form finished products, including sheet metal (16GA - " thick, occasional " plate), flat bar (3/16" - 1" thick), I-beams (3" @ 7.5 lbs/ft), and structural tubing (1" square to 3" x 4" rectangle). Fitting and forming parts, inspection, and grinding are also required.
• Reading drawings and route sheets to determine job requirements.
• Working in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborating with all plant functions (safety, quality, maintenance, management).
• Maintaining a clean work area (5S).
• Flexibility to be trained on multiple jobs and welding positions.
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
