Job summary

Flare Construction, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Welder Helper to support the Gas Division on active pipeline and facility construction projects in the St. George, Utah area.

You will assist welders with setup, equipment handling, and material prep while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following all Flare safety standards. This role requires basic welding tool knowledge, physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of welding tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and push/pull loads up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced welders.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders in setting up equipment and preparing materials for welding.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Help monitor inventory and materials.
• Operate power and hand tools as directed.
• Assist with equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Transport tools and materials to and from job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and Flare safety standards.
