Hazleton Division of H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Welder to fabricate and repair metal items in a fast-paced shop. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, team oriented, motivated, and takes initiative.

The role involves welding various metals, following prints, and ensuring quality while adhering to OSHA/MSHA policies. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent or 2 years related experience or training.
• Able to use mechanics hand tools and welding equipment (SMAW, GTAW, GCAW, GMAW).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs fabrication or repair per OSHA/MSHA and company policies.
• Receives direction from shop foreman for daily tasks.
• Verifies supplies on hand before starting tasks; tracks progress.
• Communicates with supervisors on scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Suggests improvements to equipment and workflow for efficiency.
• Reads prints, measures, cuts, fits, tacks, welds, and polishes metals.
