Job summary

Harrington Hoists, Inc. in Manheim, PA is seeking a reliable Welder/Fabricator to perform lay-out, fabricating and MIG welding under minimal supervision.

You will read blueprints, set up welding operations, maintain safety standards and support the welding department to produce quality components for customer products. The role requires reading and writing English, and offers a stable regular full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain welding certification within six months.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in welding (1–3 years preferred).
• Must read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret simple to difficult drawings, sketches and/or work from samples and instruction.
• Clean, cut and prepare various metals for welding.
• Set-up and perform mig welding on items for customer products.
• Safely operate equipment (saw, torch, presses, brakes) to produce sub-assemblies.
• Produce work meeting Quality Control standards.
• Requisition welding supplies to maintain flow of welded product.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (hoists, cranes, tow motors).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Exhibit teamwork and perform other duties as required.

Education
