Qualdoc in Ashland, VA is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter with Flux-Core MIG welding experience to read engineering drawings and produce precise welded components. This full-time, first-shift position offers contract-to-hire potential, a starting pay of $23.00 per hour, and opportunities to work with various metals while following QMS safety standards.

Candidates should be detail-oriented and dependable, able to operate measuring tools and fabrication equipment safely to meet production

Competenze

• Hands-on experience with Flux-Core MIG welding.
• Ability to pass a flat 1G welding test; 3G welding ability preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience using inspection and measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and rulers.
• Basic mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use the following tools: squares, tape measures, Bessey clamps, reachovers, levels, and hammers.
• Strong communication skills and dependability.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and production standards.

Starting Pay: $23.00/hour; higher pay may be available depending on experience.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fitter with experience in metal fabrication and Flux-Core MIG welding. The ideal candidate can follow technical drawings, work with different metal materials, and produce accurate, high-quality welds and fabricated components.
