Job summary

Processbarron seeks an experienced welder to lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components for structural forms. The role requires welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring compliance with specifications.

You will perform quality checks, operate cutting tools, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with the team to meet production goals.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible to lay out, fit and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: What are the 5-8 major responsibilities/activities of the role and 2-3 major expectations attributed to each activity?1. WeldingWeld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positionsweld in all positions, vertical, horizontalEvaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment.Provide assistance to production process wherever necessary.Design and produce new parts according to specifications.Perform efficient welding of various metal objects.Perform work with help of various hand and power tools.Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of cutting equipment.Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products.Administer all welding activities in a safe and efficient manner.Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required.Collaborate work with metal sheets and apply various insulation materials.2. Read Blueprints and/or DrawingsUse Welding material per provided drawings.Communicate defects to manager.3. SafetyAttend scheduled safety meetings.Enforce all applicable safety policies.Maintain a safe work environmentPromote safety among co-workers.Participate in Behavior Based Safety program.4.
