Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to fabricate, lay out, position and weld metal components per blueprints for shipyard projects. You will operate fabricating machines, inspect parts for conformance and finish edges for assembly. Experience with heat-treating and lifting equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARYFabricate, lay out, position, align, and fit parts of structural metal products.Key Performance Indicators are as follows: Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools to the ships in the shipyard per the specifications 100% of the time, completes all required company training 100% of the time and follows all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
