Job Description

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Welder / Finisher for a company based in Columbus, MS. The primary responsibilities include welding metal parts and grinding them into the correct shape.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Welder / Finisher Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties per customer contract requirements.
• Read and understand blueprints and welding process specifications.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as tape measure, square, caliper, and protractor proficiently.
• Weld small gaps on products and grind to the required shape.
• Assist in other production areas after weld repairs are completed.
• Perform maintenance and side projects as directed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MIG Welding Certification is required.
• Knowledge of industrial settings and machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
