Millwork Finisher (Administrative)



Auburn Ridge, a leader in providing innovative cabinetry and millwork solutions to builders, is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Millwork Finisher to join our Millwork team. This position plays a vital role in delivering top-quality trim and stair components by applying stains, paints, and sealants according to company standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in woodworking and production environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Perform surface preparation duties including sanding, staining, sealing, and drying of wood components.
  2. Pull, sand, and pre-finish materials needed for jobs based on work orders.
  3. Communicate material shortages and inventory issues to the Millwork Manager.
  4. Assist with overnight material preparation for next-day deliveries.
  5. Maintain and clean spray guns, pumps, and other related finishing equipment.
  6. Follow all departmental procedures and quality standards.
  7. Keep workspaces clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
  8. Proactively identify and report defects or issues in materials and processes.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous woodworking experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as machining and assembly practices.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds frequently throughout the day.
