Job summary

SI Staffing in Glen Arm, MD is seeking an experienced Welder and Fabricator Technician to perform welding, fabrication, repair, and general production work on trailers, fleet equipment, and metal structures.

The ideal candidate reads blueprints, works with various metals, and uses welding and fabrication tools. This is a full-time, on-site role with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule and a $24.00/hour starting pay, ASAP start date.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in welding and fabrication is required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and drawings.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working safely in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on trailers, fleet equipment, and metal structures.
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions; ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use grinders and tools to cut, shape, and finish metals.
• Assist with framing, installation, and other fabrication projects as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
