Job summary

PlayCore in Michigan is seeking a Welder to fabricate and weld steel parts per blueprints, using MIG welding and precise measurement. You will follow specifications, test weld quality, and work in a team to meet customer needs while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

This role requires reading blueprints, tape measures, and welding gauges, with adherence to AWS standards and EPICOR ERP usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experienced or technical training as a structural welder capable of joining, fabricate and weld metal tube and pipe.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.

Education And/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Other Requirements

• Ability to perform MIG welding thin gauge, mild steel and other weld-able material by applying appropriate welding techniques
• Able to read and understand a tape measure, weld symbols and welding gauges
• Must be able to interpret blueprint specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine and apply appropriate welding processes
