Job summary

Capital Sand Co Inc. in Missouri is seeking a skilled welder to assemble, repair, and modify components for plants and equipment. You will read welding blueprints, perform TIG, MIG, and stick welds, and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is required.
• Able to read welding blueprints and symbols.
• Willing to travel across Missouri.

Capital Sand is looking for a skilled individual who is capable of welding on plants and equipment. This position will be based out of Jefferson City, MO.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManufactures, repairs, modifies, rebuilds, and assembles various components related to our plants and equipmentRead and interpret welding blueprints, including all standard welding symbolsWelds and performs work at a steady pace to maintain the construction schedule and meet efficiency ratesUses required measuring instruments and gauges to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirementsOperates all machinery and equipment according to safety requirementsMust maintain equipment and machineryMaintain clean and organized work areasOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSWelding experience- willing to give experience to the right candidateExperience with torches, plasma cutters, and grindersExperience with TIG, MIG, and stick weldingMust be willing to travel across MissouriMust have valid driver’s license, Class E preferredMust have the ability to stand for long periods of time.Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistanceMust pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
