Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. at 94 N Dell Ave, Kenvil, NJ, is seeking a skilled MIG welder/fabrication technician for day shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), to support up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work trucks. Join a team focused on keeping Americas roads safe.

You will diagnose, repair, and read schematics/blueprints, performing shop math and ensuring precise installations. Basic wiring/electrical or hydraulic knowledge is a plus; technical degree helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• MIG welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read diagrams/blueprints and perform shop math.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Technical degree or certifications in welding/electrical hydraulics optional.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding fabrication and some assembly work on heavy-duty truck up-fit projects.
• Diagnostic and repair work on installations.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• MIG welding fabrication and some assembly work in the up fit and installation of equipment on heavy duty work truck builds
• diagnostic and repair work
• read schematics diagrams blueprints perform shop math experience in MIG Welding and ensure accurate installations and repairs
• Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems andor hydraulics is a plus

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful andor specialty certifications ie welding electrical hydraulics not required

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (required)

• Must be able to successfully pass a weld test for uphill and vertical welding

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to liftpush up to 50 lbs
• Bending lifting and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
