Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. in Columbia, MO is seeking an Installation Technician for MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work trucks.

The role includes diagnostic and repair work and reading schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate installations. Applicants should have basic shop math, hand-tool proficiency, and be able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes.
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, fabrication and assembly for up-fit and installation on heavy-duty truck builds.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work in the heavy bay.
• Read schematics, diagrams and blueprints; perform shop math as needed.
• Knowledge of wiring/electrical systems and hydraulics is a plus.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred):
