Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. located at 2177 St Rt 19 Bucyrus OH is seeking an Installation Technician to join our heavy bay team. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves reading schematics, diagrams, and blueprints, performing shop math, and diagnosing and repairing while ensuring accurate installations. Teamwork and safety are essential as we support road-safety equipment nationwide.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and ability to interpret work instructions diagrams & blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Willing to work in a team environment; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with weld assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding and fabrication for heavy-duty truck up fit.
• Assemble components and install equipment on trucks.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding fabrication and some assembly work in the up fit and installation of equipment on heavy duty work truck builds The role also involves diagnostic and repair work You will need to read schematics diagrams blueprints perform shop math experience in MIG Welding and ensure accurate installations and repairs Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems andor hydraulics is a plus

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS

• preferred Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions diagrams & blueprints

• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful andor specialty certifications ie welding electrical hydraulics not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to liftpush up to 50 lbs
• Bending lifting and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
