Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to repair and fabricate components essential to production. You will weld to repair and fabricate components, maintain structures, piping, fixtures, and equipment, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance in a shop setting.

Applicants should have flux-core welding experience and be able to pass 3G back gouge and back weld tests. Hours are Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays; appealing benefits include medical, 401K, profit sharing,

Qualifications

• Experience with flux-core welding and FCAW processes.
• Able to pass 3G back gouge and back weld tests.
• Familiar with welding, cutting, and fabrication in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Weld to repair and fabricate components for production.
• Maintain and repair structure, piping, fixtures, and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Operate and handle related tools and equipment.
