HS Diploma, GED or equivalent. Degree in welding preferred.
Certificates from a technical program are strongly desired.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and Engineering drawings.
Basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division. Ability to calculate area, circumference and general algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
