Fortive is seeking a Welding Supervisor to oversee welding fabrication, vessel welding, and paint operations. The role requires AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, and CWI certification. You will supervise 10–30 staff and ensure production schedules align with quality standards.
Responsibilities include planning and coordinating work orders, interpreting blueprints, and improving methods to increase efficiency and meet deadlines.
This position is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in welding fabrication, vessel welding and paint department. Must be AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 and CWI certified.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Inventory software; ERP System and ADP Time Keeping.
Directly supervises 10-30 employees in the Welding and Paint department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
