Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator who prides themselves on quality craftsmanship. The role requires reading blueprints, taking precise measurements, and using welding and fabrication tools to build structural metal components.

You will work 1st shift 6:00am–2:30pm with overtime, follow safety rules, and complete ASME welding certification tests within the established timeframe.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or welding background required; blueprints read and interpreted.
• ASME welding certification tests completed within established timeframe.
• Focus on safety, quality craftsmanship, and reliable fabrication.
• Six months welding experience or formal technical training required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, lay out, position, align, and fit structural metal components from blueprints.
• Safely operate cutting torches and carbon arc gouging.
• Read drawings and process sheets; verify fit with measuring tools.
• Perform welding/fabrication per established techniques and standards.
• Complete ASME certification tests within the required timeframe.
