Job summary

High Steel Structures LLC in Lancaster, PA seeks Welders / Fabricators to assemble and fabricate structural steel units, focusing on bridges and building products. Qualifications

Overview

Role and Schedule

Welders / Fabricators are responsible for performing various fitting, layout, welding, finishing, grinding and related operations to assemble and fabricate various structural steel units, including bridges and other building products.
3rd-shift operates four nights per week, Mon – Thurs 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Your standard work week ends on Fri 7:00 AM. 3rd-shift coworkers also receive a 25% shift differential. Must be flexible and available to work overtime as requested or per business demand.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required. High school or post-secondary coursework or degree in welding/fabrication highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated welding experience, including Stick, MIG, and/or Submerged Arc desired.
  • The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments is critical.
  • Must be able to pass the required welding certification test.
Training and Certification

For those with only D1.1 experience, we offer classroom and on-the-job mentoring through High Steel University for experienced welders to gain their D1.5 certifications.
