Job summary

High Steel Structures LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a 3rd-shift Outdoor Industrial Skilled Laborer. The role involves pre-punch and drilling at splice sections of steel bridge girders, guiding Mi-Jack equipment, and assisting with on-site iron work.

Strong candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to work outdoors in all weather, and prefer prior steel erection or general labor experience. Forklift cert is a plus; PA driver license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work outdoors 100% of the time in all weather conditions.
• Previous steel erection or general laborer experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools, including drills.
• Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain on the job.
• A valid PA driver's license is required.
• Prior truck driving experience preferred.
• Experience operating a yard crane or travel lift is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders.

• Guide MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing.

We are currently hiring for a 3rd-shift Outdoor Industrial Skilled Laborer, in Lancaster, PA.

Third-shift coworkers receive a 25% shift differential, and work 4 nights per week, Mon-Thurs, 8:30pm - 7:00am.

Description:

• Will Perform all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders.
• Will match mark plates, as necessary.
• Will walk with and guide the MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing products.
• Will assist with onside iron work duties.
• Will be responsible to use electric drills to drill holes where needed.

Our next co-worker will ideally possess the following:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Willingness work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions, is required.
• Previous steel erection (iron worker) or general laborer experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools, include drills.
• Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job.
• A valid PA driver's license is required.
