Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to assemble or fabricate mechanical parts according to required specifications using a variety of tools, including welders, torches, and plasma.

You will read blueprints and follow engineering drawings, maintain weld equipment, and ensure quality through inspections. MIG/MAG and TIG experience preferred, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform precise work.
• Experience with stick, MIG, and TIG welding preferred.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
• Prefer candidate with stick, mig, and tig experience
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld grinder, band saws, torch
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
• Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification change
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience, preferred
• Basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
• High attention to detail and must be self-motivated
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $25-$35/hr
