CRH’s Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator in Endicott, NY. You will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts using welders, torches and plasma, following blueprints and drawings.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of welding experience and the ability to read diagrams, measure accurately, and work with hand tools. The role offers hourly pay in the $25–$35 range plus a robust benefits package including 401(k), disability, life, health, dental, vision insurance, paid time

Job Summary

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization, including welder, torch, plasma. Job Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
• Prefer candidate with stick, mig, and tig experience
• Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld grinder, band saws, torch
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools
• Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification change
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of experience, preferred
• Basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
• High attention to detail and must be self-motivated
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
